5.00 rating Love this booster by Dawn Hare on December 13, 2006
I also have this booster and my daughter loves it, it fits our car and her perfectly. If you are looking for your child to be in a 5 point harness longer look at the Safety 1st Apex 65, 5 point harness until 65 pounds and only $100-$130, a lot less than Britax. I love Britax but none convert to a booster after the 5 point harness and the Apex does! Just an FYI.
5.00 rating FYI for bigger kids needing a harness booster!!!, by Kristin, Pendelton, IN on January 1, 2004
do not have this booster. One of the reviewers posted that there needs to be a booster for bigger kids that uses a harness. There is!!! Britax Husky uses a harness until 65lbs!!! It's pricey but well worth it if it will fit in your car.
4.00 rating Compass B500 Folding Adjustable Booster by Sara, Long Island, NY on January 1, 2004
Quality was first rate. Bought this seat for my Grandson. The folding arm rests and cup holders suit him to a "T" and the seat is really comfortable for long hauls. I would highly recommend this booster to anyone.
4.00 rating FYI for Flights by Gina, Dover, DE on January 1, 2004
I wanted to respond to a users comments regarding this booster seat not being FAA approved so that it does not discourage a potential buyer of this product. I went on the manufacturers website and the FAA does not approve of any belt positioning booster seats as airline setas only have a lap belt. Most boosters on the market are of the belt positioning type so this is not unique to the compass model. Also it is highly rated by consumer reports. It is great for carpooling after school too- easy to fold up and leave for the mom who is picking up your child after school! Highly reccomended.
4.00 rating Good value for your money by Mom, Corona, CA on January 1, 2004
We have this booster and it's wonderful. The seat is very thick and soft and my son looks very comfortable. The headrest holds his head just right when he sleeps. He likes the cupholders. It folds up so I can get it into the back seat of the minivan. The seat adjusts to his height.
4.00 rating Mother of 2 year old by Mom, Long Storm, IN on January 1, 2004
The Compass B500 is a booster seat for CHILDREN AGE 4 AND 40 POUNDS or more. I bought two three years ago and love them. My grandkids like the cup holders. No arguing about which side of the car who sits on because the Compass has a cup holder on each side. The seats are easy to fold and light to carry. Now that the kids are older, I can take the back off so their friends can't tell that they're in booster seats.
3.00 rating Great Booster Seat, but... by Jenny, Mao, AL on January 1, 2004
My son was able to get out of the seat very easily. He had only been in the seat one time before the time he wiggled his way out. But the seat was very easy to install, the box for storage & carrying is a great idea. The seat is soft (especially to be a booster) and I loved that I could wash the cover. Unfortunately thanks to the wiggle worm I had to return the seat.
