5.00 rating Comfortable, Practical Seat By Richard Gilberg
November 29, 2012
I like the fact that you can latch this seat to the car, eliminating any movement while occupied or not. Seat belt issue has been resolved, and the guides now work efficiently as designed. Also like the added safety feature of the middle strap, eliminating any possibility of "submarining" (sliding under the belt upon impact), especially for smaller children.

I give it 4 stars because overall I like this seat and so does my son. The SecureGuard is not worth the extra money because it keeps coming loose no matter what we do, and is therefore useless. Otherwise, it's a nice seat and I love that it Latches to the car so it doesn't become a projectile when empty (makes up for the SG). The belt is slow to retract because of the shoulder guides, but really that's so minor. The top adjusts easily, it's lightweight, and the back doesn't fall off if not supported when carried (like our Graco Turbobooster does).

My son just turned four and loves his new car booster seat. He is proud to be able to strap himself in and do the tightening and safety check points himself. Of course, I double check. This seat is a great one to "grow up" in for many years to come. Thank you Britax and Baby Age.
3.00 rating A Disappointment By Rebecca Venable
March 18, 2011
I purchased two of these seats as "extras" for our second vehicle, and I am a bit disappointed.
The material is very plush, and the booster seems very sturdy, however, the date of Manufacture was 9 months ago, and in China.
I have purchased 6 total Britax seats so far, and they were all manufactured in North Carolina, with a date of manufacture no more than 3 months before I received them with the exception of these two boosters.
Since these boosters are only good for 6 years, and my children are not quite five, I'm afraid we will have to purchase another set of seats for only one year of use.
Britax has always boasted "Made in the USA" and these aren't. So not only are we not keeping jobs in America, but putting something so important as child seats in the hands of a country with sub-standard safety and manufacturing guidelines.
A smaller rant is that the instructions are not attached to the seat. This can create problems, especially if you move the seat frequently.
I will probably keep these, as they aren't "primary seats", and I would be paying at least $30 in return shipping, but paying a premium for Chinese-manufactured safety that are 9 months old is a waste, in my opinion, and a definite black mark on the Britax name that I used to trust implicitly.

5.00 rating Very happy with our new seat By karen lepke

My son loves his new seat. He feels like a big boy using the seatbelt and I like that the booster seat still used the LATCH system and is very safe.

I love this seat, once again Britax has not let me down. I ordered it from Baby Age and 2 days later it was sitting on my doorstep. It arrived just as expected and my son loves it! It's super stylish and safe too.

My four year old LOVES this seat; it's easy for her to use and she's thrilled that it's pink! It was very easy to put together. We are huge Britax fans, we own three of their carseats/boosters!
4.00 rating Good seat, hard to buckle By SAK
May 25, 2010
The seat itself is nice. However, buckling the seat belt is quite difficult in a Mercedes R350 due to the deepness of seat belt buckle.
5.00 rating Our second Parkway By Cara
September 8, 2009
Our oldest daughter has a Parkway and we loved it so much we had to get a new one for our middle son, and moving the baby into his old Decathlon!! He was THRILLED to move into his big boy booster!! In all this will be our 5th Britax seat we've bought...and will never buy any other brand. Parkway is comfy/safe/attractive...perfect!
5.00 rating The styrofoam NEEDS to be brittle, guys By The Professor
October 9, 2007
Great seat!
A couple people have complained about the styrofoam around the head breaking. It is DESIGNED to crush, etc very easily. That is how it would protect your child's head in an accident--ABSORBING the energy by being smashed. It's simple engineering 101.
It is NOT designed for your kids to mess with and won't stand up to it.
Just like you wouldn't walk on egg carton styrofoam and expect it to hold up... it's not designed for that.
Don't fault the designer. Fault physics or Isaac Newton.
And tell your kids to stop messing with the headrest. If you want durability, get a headrest made out of wood, but then don't complain when your child gets a concussion in a fender bender.

4.00 rating Duh it's not for 2 year olds By elizabeth
September 8, 2007
The very best way to protect your child is to keep them in their five point harness until they outgrow their marathon (or other carseat) which is usually around age 4. The parkway and other boosters are meant to keep children safe who are too big for conventional carseats and too small to use an adult belt by itself. It is also not meant to be childproof. It is made so older children can buckle themselves in and out when the vehicle is stopped. Toddlers should be fully restrained in a five point harness even if they meet the minimum height and weight requirements for a booster.
5.00 rating Great Booster By Vikki
June 29, 2007
When our 3 year old son outgrew his Marathon, we purchased the Parkway. At first I was nervous because it seemed unstable compared to the LATCH system of the Marathon, but once my 34-pound son was buckled in, it was amazingly secure. It is also a breeze to transfer to another car. We have had it now for almost 2 years and the top quality fabric still looks like new. The only negative are the cupholders. They are very shallow and pretty much useless. I can't wait until my 2 year old daughter is big enough so we can buy her the "Tiffany" print!

My 5 year old has this seat and I just ordered one for my son as well. It is so wonderful and easy to install and buckle them. It is worth every penny I spent!!
4.00 rating Safe and Comfortable Booster By Denise
June 25, 2007
This car seat is not only very safe, it is also much more comfortable than our present car seat. The bottom had more cushion, and I really like that when my daughter falls asleep, her head is not falling forward or bobbing from side to side. The adjustable headrest allowed me to adjust it to her rather petite size...and will also grow along with her, so hopefully, this will be the last carseat we have to buy.

We had bought the brownstone-parkway booster and LOVE IT! Great protection and the headrest is great for holding my 4 years head upright when she naps in the car.
5.00 rating the seat we were looking for! By Karin, Uxbridge, ON
January 1, 2004
This booster is amazing....we tried three different brands before we found what we wanted in terms of comfort, support and overall function. Our boys often nod off in the car and this is the first booster seat that allows them doze comfortably without their chins falling to their chest. The boys love their new seats, we love the safety features and everyone is happy! We now have four Parkway's (2/vehicle) and they were worth every penny!

5.00 rating worth the money!!! By Anonymous, Ft. Worth, TX
January 1, 2004
In our opinion, this is the greatest booster car seat ever. This is the third booster seat we've had for our daughter. One was a plain booster seat with no back. We replaced that one very quickly with a Cosco which has a back and looks similar to the Parkway. We go on trips over 50 miles about once or twice a week and our daughter has a tendency to sleep during these trips. Before, her head would swing around with every turn or stop and go. She would also double over or fall sideways. She also squirms in the other seats like they are extremely uncomfortable. We felt horrible about putting her in these booster seats, but she is too big for a regular car seat. We took a trip the next day after receiving the Parkway. It was a dream. The head, back and seat are much better padded than the Cosco. Our daughter went to sleep right after we got out of town and slept comfortably all the way to our destination. She then slept all the way back, which is unusual. We love it!
4.00 rating Great! but what's with the Handwashing? By Julie, Salem, NC
January 1, 2004
After almost 5 years in her Roundabout I finally moved my daughter up to the Parkway. She is almost 6 but not quite 40 pounds, and she was ready to be able to get herself in and out of her Carseat when we stop. Love the plushiness of the seat, and I purchased a seat protector to go under the seat, so slipping is not a problem on my leather seat. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is the fact that the cover has to be handwashed. What is up with that? My Roundabout cover is machine washable. I do dread the day I have to remove , wash, and figure out how to get that cover back on! Otherwise a great booster
4.00 rating no arm rest, not deep cup holders, greatest protection By Marcella, Ossining, NY
January 1, 2004
The protection offered to the child is the greatest. But, it doesn't have arm rest and their cup holders are not deep enough to hold their drinks.

JASPREET KOCHAR:
For both kids, always trusted Britax for their car seats.

My 7 year old daughter is very small.
Too big for her old Britax baby seat but too small (in my opinion) for the standard booster.
