My husbandd easily installed the car seat into each of our cars. It adjusts easily, very solid. Although its a closeout color, who will know!!

5.00 rating Safe and Well-Constructed Seat! by Mom of 2

I love this car seat!! Have a Britax Boulevard -- which I always felt was top of the line. I think I might like the Marathon a little better. Because you have to manually adjust the shoulder straps (which is annoying for some), it feels like the seat is a little more sturdy. Know that sounds odd -- but our Boulevard has moved up and down so much with two kids that it feels like the headrest is loose. This is probably not the case and only my perception, however. I have an 11 year old Volvo and it fits nicely in my back seat, much better than the Evenflo Triumph that I had previously. That one was very wide and had side adjusters which made it a challenge to secure in a side seat. With the Marathon, the straps are also very thick and actually stay at armpit height, versus my old seat where the clip moved up and down no matter now tight I secured it. Wouldn't even hesitate on this one! Well worth the investment.

5.00 rating Britax Marathon is well worth the extra $$ by C. L. Bush

I purchased a Britax Marathon for my daughter after she complained that her back hurt in the eddie bauer car seat we had for her. She loves her car seat, never complains anymore. Her head doesn't flop forward while she sleeps like it did in her old car seat. It's so easy to get in and out of the car too. My husband loves that part. I just purchased a new one for my 21 mo old son as well. Well worth the price difference. I convinced one of my miser friends to purchase a Britax and she looooooves it too. You won't regret the purchase and your kids will appreciate the comfortable ride.

5.00 rating Love it! by Heidi Qua

This is the second Britax I have owned. My first was purchased back in 2001 and I love the improvements they have made. The LATCH system makes it so easy to install, and install safely. MAKE SURE YOUR CAR SEAT CANNOT MOVE once installed. There should be very little wiggle room. Take it to your local police station and have them help. The car seat is the best and well worth the money you invest in it. My daughter loves it!

User Review for Britax Parkway SGL Belt Positioning Booster

5.00 rating The styrofoam NEEDS to be brittle, guys by The Professor

Great seat! A couple people have complained about the styrofoam around the head breaking. It is DESIGNED to crush, etc very easily. That is how it would protect your child's head in an accident--ABSORBING the energy by being smashed. It's simple engineering 101. It is NOT designed for your kids to mess with and won't stand up to it. Just like you wouldn't walk on egg carton styrofoam and expect it to hold up... it's not designed for that. Don't fault the designer. Fault physics or Isaac Newton. And tell your kids to stop messing with the headrest. If you want durability, get a headrest made out of wood, but then don't complain when your child gets a concussion in a fender bender.

Booster Car Seats

The last stop before the car's seat belt, a booster car seat is the final car seat the child will ever need. A booster car seat is different than its predecessors, the infant and convertible car seat. A booster seat can accept a child generally up to 80 lbs. and in some cases up to 100 lbs. Many states are passing legislation making it mandatory for a child to stay in a car booster seat till 8 years or 100 lbs. The car seat market is growing quickly and the booster seat is one of its fastest growing items. Many models of car booster seat are convertible and offer the option of removing the back of the car seat when the child hits 40 lbs. An example is the Britax Monarch. Since many convertible car seats can accommodate a child to 65 lbs., many parents prefer a booster seat which is backless. A car booster seat which is backless is extremely light and easy to move from car to car. One of the top versions of booster car seat which is backless is the Evenflo Fit Right. Other top booster car seats include the Britax Regent and the Graco TurboBooster.
