I bought this as a second base for our second car. I love it because all you have to do is transfer your infant car seat to the other base instead of transferring the whole thing.

We couldn't live without this - It works perfectly & I don't see anything about the color that makes it stand out. Always buy your carseat base (& carseat) NEW unless you're 100%+ sure that it's never been in an accident - it's just not worth getting a used one.

Having an extra base is a life saver. The first few weeks our son was home we had to move bases from one car to another and it was a nightmare. Now we have one for my husband's car and mine and gave one to each set of grandparents. I highly recommend getting AT LEAST 1 extra base.

If you don't already have a base for your carseat, then you need one. It is a pain in the bum to buckle the carseat in and out each time you go somewhere or take baby out, and having the base is safer and much more secure.
If you have one base, and are considering getting this as a second one for your second car, do it. The bases are easy to install, but you don't want to do it every time. It's not that easy haha. Plus, all cars are different and you don't want to have to think about how to install in each car or worry about it. The bases make it so so easy to switch the carseat from one car to another. We have two and use them constantly!!!!!!
