The First Years

The only complaint I have is that it can be difficult to open w/ one hand. Otherwise, this gate is just what I was looking for - it's super easy to clean and maintain, there's no wondering what's going on on the other side, and it's flexible (you can mount it or not). I have it mounted, and am on the search for another couple now that I have another baby making his moves through the house. Overall, I highly recommend it!
Versatile, effective, secure and simple (once you install) By

The ability to adjust top and bottom rails of the hinge side to different widths to accomodate molding or other uneven surfaces is a huge plus. I have thick molding and needed something with the freedom to adjust. This alone makes it a perfect fit for our 80 year old house and its stairway. This gate comes with a template, nice touch, as long as you have even and level wall surfaces to deal with. I don't! But after putting it together once, and then taking it apart again to make the adjustments I felt it needed, I was able to install this gate in our difficult stairway. The instructions recommend installing into wood or studs, and due to the plaster used on my walls and inability to find a stud inline with the other side of the gate, I have actually installed it at a slight angle without compromising the safety of the gate.Great quality product, several ways you can install to accomodate your needs. Instructions are complete and pictures detail very well. The gate can be opened with one hand, but utilizes a push-in-and-turn dial, similar to a child-safe medicine bottle.
FYI for bigger kids needing a harness booster!!!, By

do not have this booster. One of the reviewers posted that there needs to be a booster for bigger kids that uses a harness. There is!!! Britax Husky uses a harness until 65lbs!!! It's pricey but well worth it if it will fit in your car.
Love it! By

I love, love, love this stroller. It is very versatile and is simple to use. It holds the baby at a taller height, which he loves! It also lays all the way back if he wants to nap in it.

And you would not believe all the compliments I get on the stroller! Everyone wants to know what kind it is and where I got it. They seem to think it cost a lot more than it did.
Works great! By

I love this gate. I bought it this week and have had NO trouble with setup or use. I'm only 5'2", so stepping over one of those other gates was not an option. Especially with carrying my groceries in, I didn't want to have trouble with it. My husband is a big, clumsy guy, and he had no trouble figuring it out, either. It has an added bonus, it keeps my dog from running to my front door whenever the doorbell rings! :)

I'd highly recommend this.
Great Car Seat! By
June 29, 2010
After much debating I chose this car seat as an additional car seat so my son can ride in my husband's vehicle. I was hoping it would fit in my car rear facing which it did. I was very impressed by the features prior to purchasing and am as impressed with them once we received the seat. It is relatively easy to install, has newer and better features than previous models. I like the level at the bottom which tells you how reclined your seat is. I like the no re-threading feature. I love how comfortable the seat is! I must say it is much more cushioned than the other seat we have, the Britax Marathon. It is also roomier and wider. I like that this seat goes to 50inches as opposed to 49 with the Britax Marathon. I also like the option of using it without the headrest for infants and the included insert for infants. I like the price, lower than the Britax seats. I get 7 years of use out of this one, 6 years with Britax. So far no complaints, we chose the Urban Life and it's a little darker than I thought but not too dark. Overall I would highly recommend this seat.
If it's between the Compass s300 and the Combi I-Thru By

I am embarrassed of the snack tray which, after three months of scraping the ground when folding, looks like a second-hand-purchased stroller. It is hard to steer when baby faces me. I've read that the PegPerego Venezia has solved this problem with 4 swivel wheels but it, too, is quite heavy, not to mention $350. I wish I could pay a reasonable amount for a lightweight stroller that folds down relatively compact, with a snack tray, adjustable footrest, 5 pt harness, full recline, large canopy, reversible handle, and adequate storage. Is that too much to ask?!

Great choice for non-harness booster By

We are very pleased with this car seat. It is lightweight yet sturdy, comfortable (per my kids), and high quality. We now have 2 of them and would not hesitate to purchase another.

I have had this sterilizer for 2 1/2 years, and used it for two babies for over six months each, and it still works great. I have had no problems with it at all. Easy to use and convenient. I buy it for other people, I like it so well. Would recommend to anyone!
