The First Years

kickin' coaster By

It's very cute and my almost three month old granddaughter loves the lights! The back support isn't great but it should be alright. She still needs to grow a little to really get the full effect on her own.

Nice gate, didn't last long..... By
January 1, 2004
We purchased this gate in December 2005. Our twin boys started crawling and we needed a gate for the top of the stairs. This gate worked great for about 5 months and then the knobs broke. Our friends have the same gate, and their knobs broke as well. There are many reviews on here stating that the knobs broke after one year, ours didn't even last 1/2 that long. We don't use it excessively, so I'm not sure why ours didn't hold up. I called The First Years company and they claim the gate has a 1 year warranty. She told me to mail in both knobs, my receipt (or legible copy showing date purchased) and they will send us replacement knobs. She also gave me a file # to reference. The lady stated about 10 times (very rudely!!) that we MUST have our receipt or they won't send us the new knobs. I told her over and over I have it right here in front of me, I guess she didn't believe me. So we're sending it in, we'll see if they really send us the replacements..... If anyone has their gate break within the 1 year warranty period, call 1-800-533-6708 (which is the number on the back of the gate instruction book) and they should cover it under the warranty. Just be sure to KEEP YOUR RECEIPT!!!
Works great! By

I love this gate. I bought it this week and have had NO trouble with setup or use. I'm only 5'2", so stepping over one of those other gates was not an option. Especially with carrying my groceries in, I didn't want to have trouble with it. My husband is a big, clumsy guy, and he had no trouble figuring it out, either. It has an added bonus, it keeps my dog from running to my front door whenever the doorbell rings! :)

I'd highly recommend this.

Love this gate! We have it installed between the kitchen and dining room and it works great! I love the hands free pedal. Install was quick and easy.
Great stroller! By
August 20, 2010
My son refused to ride in a forward facing stroller, he would scream the whole time. It made any type of errand unbearable. This was a life saver for me. He hasn't cried at all in this. I would buy this stroller again with no hesitation. I really like the look of it too. I get compliments every time we are out.
take and toss cups By

I love these, my kids have been using them for years. It doesn't matter if you leave one behind since they are so cheap. The one problem I have found is that the cups last alot longer then the lids.

This item was easy to assemble and top quality. My child is six weeks old and loves this glider. Gives me a break as well! Highly, HIGHLY recommended!
FYI for bigger kids needing a harness booster!!!, By
January 1, 2004
do not have this booster. One of the reviewers posted that there needs to be a booster for bigger kids that uses a harness. There is!!! Britax Husky uses a harness until 65lbs!!! It's pricey but well worth it if it will fit in your car.
