We bought this product as a space saver. Already having the bedrooms in our house filled up, we decided to have the baby sleep in our room. This piece of furniture solved the dilemma of needing to find room for both clothes/diapering storage and a crib for the baby. I think that the size of the whole piece of furniture is similar to a full size crib. The baby is now 5 months old and still fitting in the crib fine. He is a big baby, and at 28 inches, we have outgrown the diaper changing space on top of the dresser. We will happily use this space for more storage, however. Only thing we were slightly unhappy about was that there were some dings/dents in the wood when the product arrived to us -- probably happening while it was being shipped to us. Also, one of the dresser knobs has fallen off, so we replaced all of the knobs. Otherwise the product is structurally sound.
