For roughly $50, you can't find a better solid wood toddler bed. It's pretty thin, but it's a lot better than the plastic ones at BRU for $89. This is a great way to transition from crib to big bed.

I purchased the convertable toddler bed/chair in the natural finish for our granddaughter, when she comes to visit. I love it and she loves it! I'm very happy with the look - high quality finish - very smooth, no rough or sharp edges. The bed seems sturdy enough, she crawls all around it and it stays stable. I put it together by myself fairly easily - everything fit, with the help of a rubber mallet. The only other tool needed was the allen wrench that came in the box. The mattress which I purchased separately at costco fits well. Snuggly with no gaps. I think is was a size 28x52x6 crib mattress. After time, when she out grows it - I will add some pillows, and convert it into the lounge chair...or just sell it on craigs list. The bed converts to the chair where the bed rails reach the floor. And you can't use a crib mattress with it at that point. It's a lovely bed for a good price - I recommend it.

We ordered the white one and I'm so glad we did. It's so pretty, it matches with any bedding color. It didn't come with a mattress though so you'll buy it separately. It's very easy to assemble and not heavy.
