Best Wood Kitchen By
December 24, 2009
We settled on this kitchen after visiting many store models and reading reviews. This kitchen is made better and is more functional than others. Also, it looks nice.

The assembly took my older daughter and I about 4 hours. Fortunately, the directions were clearly written. There are no electronics on this which could be a positive or negative depending on how you look at it.

I expect that this will be enjoyed for years to come

Some negatives: some of the bolts should have been longer for the faucet and stove knobs, there were a couple of knicks upon arrival and 1-2 color coded stickers for matching up parts was misplaced. I consider these minor and still suggest 5 starts

Got this for my 3yo who loves building and he loves this set. The blocks are very good quality too.
Quite Impressive By

I found the product to be quite impressive and so did the parents. I received my compliments regarding its vibrant colors and size. Unfortunately, my 3 yr. old grandson was not as impressed, but frightened of it. This is the only reason why I am returning it. It lives up to the quality and vibrant colors as depicted in the photo. Would highly recommend itlived up to its representation in the photo, as well.

Although it doesn't roll easily on our 'mini-shag' carpet, our 7 month little guy will have time to gain the confidence before he starts pushing with gusto.
Overall, we are quite happy with the strong wooden quality of this product. It has the has the charm of a classic handcrafted heirloom.

my not yet 2 year old baby girl loves it and carries the cube with her everywhere. Very high quality and of course, this is the staple of baby toys.
Small doll house By
January 25, 2010
We bought this for a 6 year old granddaughter, and she seems to like it. However, she's African-American, and there wasn't any ethnic/racial choice given for the dolls. (And she did notice the difference right away.)

The house seems smaller than we anticipated (it's half-inch scale), but is very cute. And while the plastic furniture isn't thrilling, at least the items came packaged with the house so we didn't have to buy expensive pieces that could have doubled or tripled the cost in the bigger (1 inch scale) houses. We figure it's a good starter for her. If she wants something bigger or better, or parents can get it for her.
