We love this table. The bench is about 10 inches off the ground, and the tabletop is about 18 1/2 inches off the ground. Plenty of room for my boys to grow. It is sturdy and well made and there is plenty of room. It took my dad and husband about 1 1/2 hours to put it together. And yes, they used the directions. My only issue is that there is a three step process to flatten it. You have to take off the wing nuts, slide the legs down, and then push the table down. I guess I thought is would be a simpler process. Doesn't really matter though since it will stay up in our house most of the time.

I bought this picnic table for my grandchildren (ages 4 and 2). They love it. They use it in their playroom, outside deck and since it is easy to store, their parents plan on taking it camping with them this summer.

Our son had one of these when he was a toddler and loved it. (He is now 29 years old). We bought this edition for our grandchild (his son)
