We recently purchased and put this product up. and now my little toddler cant get ahold of the wood, the fire, the pokers, ANYTHING!!! Muawwhaha! Very sturdy! i was even able to lock my husband in it :P (be he was able to get out) This product DOES its job very well, we are VERY HAPPY with it.

We live in an old farm house with a propane heater that can get pretty hot to the touch. We bought the hearth gate for the heat resistance...IT WORKS! We set the heater higher than normal and awhile later tested the gate...it wasn't even luke warm!! What a relief and what an even GREATER PRODUCT! I will be recommending this gate to EVERYONE!
