This is a good looking kids bike. It feels solid, like it will last through more than one kid's rough play. Only negative is it is very heavy. I don't see it being a big problem on a 14" bike, he'll likely be ready for a bigger bike before he's ready to balance or ride long distances. Simple to put together, I'd buy it again.

This bike is solid and I highly recommend it. I takes a bit to assemble but the bike is worth you time. My daughter love the bike and dad is happy as well. I would buy the aluminum versio and not the steel bike given the weight issue.
