Versatile, Economical, Roomy !, By

I am a foster mother and I bought this to use for my children. I love how you can use it with several types of infant carriers which is a huge plus for me. Also there is lots of room in the back seat as well as the front seat so that when I get an older child that sits back there they will not feel cramped and have plenty of leg room. I also like the huge storage basket underneath as well as the saddlebags on the sides and the steering wheel toy. I need as much storage as possible. Is it heavy.. yes.. but not so much so that it is an issue to push, collapse or get in and out of a trunk. I have a graco metrolite single stroller that I love but now that I have more children it was time to get a double and I am very happy with my jeep tandem stroller. I got a great deal too at babyage.com with cheapo shipping as well. I highly reccomend this stroller.
Works great for us! By

We love our Jeep Wagoneer Tandem Stroller. What sold us in the beginning was the price and the flexibility that it had in being able to use other manufacturers infant car seats with it. What made us love it to this day is the fact that it is roomy for my 29 pound toddler and 17 pound infant. My son loves the steering wheel and I love the spacious storage area underneath in which I tend to overpack and it fits my diaper bag, blankets, coats, etc.. Mine came with one adult cup holder. It folds down with one hand and opens easily. It is big, yes, but that's why I like it. It even fits into our trunk in a Dodge Intrepid with room to spare. (We have learned to wiggle it in sideways and it fits just fine) Yes, it may be a little harder to steer but that is because it is longer than most strollers and when you have the older, heavier child in the front that is going to happen. In the summer I used ours everyday for walks and once you are used to it, it is no big deal. Mine is worth every penny. I would rather have the space for the kids than have them cramped but easier to steer.

This stroller saved my exercise routine! I needed a stroller that would be great for walking through a hilly neighborhood, but I wanted one that would turn easily. I was never a big fan of a jog-type stroller, because normally, the front wheel won't turn, making its use more difficult. When I found this "urban terrain" stroller and discovered the front wheel turned, I had to have it. What a great decision I made (if I do say so myself!). I don't think it would be good for running, but for regular walkers like myself, it's great. The bicycle-type wheels make a smoother, quieter ride for my daughter AND a smoother push for me! In addition to those great qualities, this stroller also has the "Music on the Move" feature, which allows you to connect your walkman/ipod or other music source to batteries inside the handle. The cupholders are conveniently located, and the basket underneath is a great size, giving you plenty of room for purchases if you opt to take this stroller to the mall (I do!) OR if you need room for your carry-on bag as you push your child through the airport (I do this too!). This is an all-around great stroller. Obviously, it's more bulky than an umbrella stroller, but I stopped using umbrella strollers as soon as I found this. It's a little heavy, but I'm small (5'2"), so if I can handle it, most people can! My only complaint...and it's minor...is that it's not quite as easy to fold/unfold this stroller as some others. However, that hasn't made me switch to something else! We are so glad we purchased it!
GREAT STROLLER w/ only a couple of minor flaws By

I have had this stroller since March '04 and have used it on the beach & trekking across the Little Leage baseball fields for my older boys' games for for 2 seasons. I have gone through woods, over roots and thru ditches and this stroller handles it all very well. The fact it also holds a lot of STUFF is also a big 'plus' for us. It's SO easy to steer one handed and is the smoothest stroller I've ever used- and I went thru quite a few with my older boys.
I have to say I disagree with other reviewers on a couple of things. I've put my stroller through A LOT of hard use and never has any wheel come off. My neighbor also has this stroller (and older children to chase around the Little League fields) and she has never had any trouble with a wheel falling off, either.
My model is the one with the original foot rest- where if my son drops something it rolls down into the basket instead of on the ground. Why did Jeep change that? My neighbor HATES the new footrest and I wouldn't want it either.
As far as it tipping over and the child falling out... that's never happened to us either, but, that could happen with anything that is three-wheeled, hence the reason 3 wheeled ATVs are no longer made.
I did lose the flip top to the parent tray fairly soon after purchasing it as it flipped open when putting it in the trunk and then snapped off. Also, the hand grip (which is VERY VERY comfy) tore somewhat easily & I was told by Cust Service that it can not be replaced. THAT, I think, is poor planning since the handle is always in contact with the floor of the car/trunk when folded for storage & is bound to get torn frequently.

Great Stroller By
January 1, 2004
As the parents of a VERY active 14 mo. old boy and a 1 mo. old boy, we LOVE this stroller. For the first time in months, we have been able to go shopping and walk around with our 14 mo. old still in the stroller and not screaming to get out. The toy on the front tray is just what he needed to keep him busy. Although we get some odd looks when he honks the horn behind people! We also love the fact that although it's heavy, it's easy to push and turn through store aisles and clothing racks. Our only tip, make sure your trunk is big enough to fit the stroller! We had a tense moment the first time we tried it, but we figured it out. Overall, I love this stroller and would definitely recommend it.

SUV for Baby By
January 1, 2004
This item was a gift from my mother for use on the beach. The Jeep came in a box and was incredibly easy to assemble. It took about ten minutes total, five of those were used trying to get the wheels away from my toddler! This truly is an SUV for the baby. It is great on rough terrain, very easy to maneuver over things. However, like an SUV there is a danger of ROLLOVER! Turn too sharply while going a little too fast and the whole thing will rollover. Like an SUV, this stroller is larger and heavy. When a stroller is heavy due to the metal frame and inflated wheels, adding a twenty pound toddler will make pushing this around a real workout. SUVs use a lot of energy and this stroller will as well if you're pushing this uphill or trying to keep it from going too fast downhill. This stroller takes up a larger amount of room when folded up. I have a station wagon and this stroller took a fair amount of room in the trunk. It did not fit in the trunks of compact or smaller cars. This was a great stroller for the beach and for hikes on unpaved roads. It is not the type of stroller for everyday use.
