5.00 rating I enjoy this stroller! by Cindy, ID on January 1, 2004
Unlike several of the other reviewers, I really like this stroller! (We even have the matching infant carrier.) I have a 3yr old (weighs 29 lbs) and a 2 1/2 mo. old (weighs 12.9 lbs) and I use this stroller alot. Granted the wheels started to make a tiny noise but it was after getting the wheels wet and WD40 cleared the problem up fast. It's the MOST compact double stroller out there currently. It's comfortable material and very roomy for both children. The adult cup holder is roomy and sturdy. Plenty of pockets & storage too! I'm shocked to see all these wheels falling off!! Since I put this stroller together it makes me wonder if all these wheels weren't put on correct because it was a little complicated part of the instructions. Also, I put my 3yr old in the front or back and either way it still turns and moves good expecially compared to other double strollers I steered and moved around. I hunted for 6months for a double stroller and this is by far the best one!
4.00 rating Good stroller with a few faults by Beth, NH on January 1, 2004
I had an Evenflo infant carrier and was looking for a double stroller for my 35 pound two year old and my newborn. This stroller was brand new at Baby Depot and I couldn't find any reviews on it, but I liked the colors, it was compatible with my infant carrier, had a parent tray, and held up to 40 pounds per seat. So I risked it. Overall I am happy with it. I take it on walks in the neighborhood, but haven't taken it to the mall yet. It is heavy, but steers better than I expected. I figured I'm pushing about 80 pounds around (including the 32 pound stroller, 35 pound toddler and 13 pound baby) and you really feel it when you're going up hill. It isn't the smoothest ride and the wheels already squeak and look pretty wobbly, but haven't fallen off yet. The sunshade in front is way too small for my son, his head hits the top of it, so I don't use it. My son also seemed uncomfortable with trying to fit his feet on the front footrest, so we pull out the bar that is used for the front infant seat and he rests his feet on that. It seems to work pretty well. My biggest complaint is the parent drink holder. I haven't even used it to hold a drink yet and it already falls down almost instantly. The only things I've put in it are keys and a cell phone. So needless to say I definitely won't trust it to hold a drink or anything valuable for that matter. It is also a bit difficult to open and close at first. You almost have to bang it on the ground to get it to click in the open position. But I have gotten better with it over time. There are also several things I really like about it. The rear seat is great for laying my 2 month in. The head rest fits perfectly and she seems quite cozy in there. I also have a single Evenflo stroller and it doesn't lay as flat and she doesn't look nearly as comfortable. The fact that my evenflo infant carrier fits is also great when she's sleeping. The basket under is pretty large, but can be difficult to access. As I mentioned earlier, I am overall happy with this stroller. I can take walks and go on day trips and my kids seem happy in it, I just won't be drinking anything.
4.00 rating Great stroller, but some problems by A.T., Austin, TX on January 1, 2004
I got this stroller shortly after my second son was born. My oldest was 1 1/2 and I counld not even go out of the house if it was not for this doulble stroller. I to did have some problems with the back wheels, and I called the company and in a few days recieved new back wheels. Since then I have had zero problems. The step for the child in the back is a great addition to the stroller. My son loves to be able to get into the stroller by himself. I have had this stroller for over a year and had only the one problem. I would recommend this stroller to anyone.
4.00 rating Hummer Limo of strollers by Anonymous on January 1, 2004
I bought this stroller because I had previously owned an Evenflo Travel System and I wanted the baby carrier to fit. It came out brand new at Babies-R-Us. I hadn't read any reviews on it yet but the Graco Duoglider was half and half. So I bought the Evenflo. It wasn't very hard to put together but it is large. The first time we took it out the back right wheel popped off. It's a good thing my husband was there to flip the stoller upside down and reattach the thing. We have since taken it out and no problems with the wheel. Be careful with installation. The cup holder on the handle seems a little cheaply made also. There is no way two 44oz. drinks will stay up in that cup holder. However, it did hold two 16oz. plastic sodas at Disneyland. I love all the storage it has. The bottom basket holds enough to lug three kids around Disneyland for the day. The toddler snack/drink holder is great also. My toddler loved to put her own drink in there. There are two side pouches for mom's stuff and a zipper pouch behind the toddler seat. It also figured that the Evenflo baby carrier fits with a strap, so I guess it could hold any infant carrier. The material is a suede-like material and very padded. The things I don't like is how heavy it is, but any stroller will be with a 30lb toddler and 10lb infant plus the weight of the stroller. It will not easily fit into a commuter-car sized trunk. We have an Excursion and it fits fine. Anyways, I'm happy about the purchase. It's not likely I will be constantly lugging it in and out of the truck with three kids by my self. This stoller is for long walks and outings.
