Eddie Bauer

Perfect except for low seat back By

I bought this stroller in 2005 when my son was born, along with the matching car seat. We LOVED using it as a travel system, and as a stroller. The problem was that by the time he was 16 months old, his head was taller than the seat back, so he couldn't really ride comfortably. So, I'm not sure I would buy it again since it only really served us one year, but I am keeping it for my next baby since I already have it. It rolls like a dream, and I enjoyed the option of locking the wheel in place. Comfortable hand grips, basket is just big enough to grab a gallon of milk and a few other small items at the store. The rear wheels are set really widely, which is great for stability. However, they are too wide to slide down the luggage ramp to the airplane, which means they usually make you check it at the counter. Not for air travel, but GREAT for walking, even light jogging (not officially recommended), running errands, etc.

I purchased this for my daughter. It fits well in the seat with the LATCH system. Only drawback so far is the cup holder is not easy to access when she's buckled into the five-point harness.
consumer reports recommends By

I recently did a lot of research and found this seat to be the ONLY carseat/booster (combination seat) which consumer reports recommends AFTER crash testing. They had a problem with the seat belts slipping in the booster seat mode in the 2004 model, but were redesigned. Consumer Reports, as I found, is the only independant organization which does crash testing, except the government.Cons Rep. also recommends the Cosco Summit high back booster, but the Eddie Bauer did a little better in crash testing. So rest assured, if you are using a newer model of this seat. I plan to purchase one as a second seat.
We've loved this seat By

I got this for my son before he was one year old because he outgrew his infant seat. This seat works great in both forward and backward positions. The straps are easily loosened by pushing a button in the front of the seat, and easily tightened by pulling the strap below the button. I've had to wash the cover because of accidents, and although the first time I took it off I thought I'd never get it back on, it wasn't that hard. All of the cover comes off, and it washes well. I like this seat because it will grow with my son - becoming a booster seat when he reaches 40 pounds. We plan to purchase one for our daughter as soon as the store gets them back in stock!
Love It! Buying 2nd Seat! By
September 28, 2006
This is a fantastic carseat. After researching carseats for our 1st child for quit sometime, we chose this one because several reviews said that it saved their childs life in auto accidents. My daughter when asked if she would like a new carseat and give this one to her brother said no she likes this one best. We are now back to buy a 2nd one for our 2nd baby. The only draw back is that the cover is difficult to pull off to wash until you get it down, but really do you want a cover that comes off easily (maybe even when it's not supposed to?!) Anyway love the seat!

Anyone know if it fits certain e.b. car seats or all of them? Just want to make sure it'll fit my e.b. car seat purchased 2 yrs. ago. Thanks!

Looks good, both with and without the fabric cover. VERY stable, too.
Beware! By

I just bought this play yard for my little girl that is due in 2 weeks. Just a warning...it is not pink! I thought from the pictures it was pink but it is brown. So if you do not mind brown it is beautiful!

I love it! This seat really grows with your child. I would recommend it to anyone! I would recommend a carrier from 5-20 lbs, then this seat from then on. It's worth it's price in gold.
