Nice bassinet, but dimensions are incorrect By
October 25, 2009
This bassinet seems very sturdy and was easy to put together. Our little one is not born yet, so we don't know yet how it will ultimately work out. We were a bit disappointed though, because the product description listed that the sheets should be 16 x 32. We therefore falsely assumed that the mattress would also be in those dimensions. We ordered a different mattress, but had to send it back, because the actual dimensions of this bassinet are 28.7 by 15.7. 16 x 32 is therefore way too long. Just wanted to warn others to not make the same mistake. We will now go ahead and use the mattress that comes with the bassinet.
Nice travel system - highly recomended By
January 1, 2004
I got this Eddie Bauer Travel system from Baby R Us in December 2003 for $200 USD. Pros: well built, sturdy, big storage basket, good paddings, multi-recline positions, big wheels with suspensions on all wheels, stroller is folded in a upright position, so you don't have to bend down to pick it up. Stroller has locking mechanisms when folded or unfoled. Cons: stroller alone weights 23 lbs (little heavy!). Stroller folded dimension: 24' x 37' x 18'. Make sure you have enough space in your car trunk. Overall: Highly recommended this travel system. I am happy with it. Tips: To unfold this system can be tricky, here is the tip. Use one hand to push the baby tray toward (to loosen up the locking mechanism) and use the other hand to press on the release button (red button) on the handling bar to unfold the stroller. Update: After 1-year of using this travel system, my wife and I are still happy with it. It is a well-built system.
Why You Only Think You Need a High Chair By
January 1, 2004
At dinnertime, when my husband and I like to linger over the table and prefer our daughter to be with us, we learned she would not tolerate the high chair for as long as we wished. She had far fewer objections to a portable feeding chair that hooks on to the table. We purchased a version by Chicco which cost about forty dollars, had a very soft seat, a three-point harness that made sense, and brought her right to the table with us. Something I learned I don't like about high chairs in general is the way they isolate the baby from the table during meals, and in the hook-on feeding chair we didn't have that problem. Feeding her right from the table meant less cleaning because I had to wipe the table down anyway, and the seat we got is covered by a well-padded but slick-surfaced material which was easy to clean. This method takes up much less room than a high chair, can be packed away and hidden on occasion, is much less expensive, and is something you might buy anyway for taking to restaurants and friends' houses. I give it my full endorsement. I never met a budget I didn't want to blow, but not even I can justify spending the money when the two best options are either two hundred dollars or forty dollars. Save the money for a nice toddler chair in the future (I have glowing review of the Stokke Kinderzeat in-draft), which some kids use for years and love sitting in.

I have a 2 1/2 yr old a a 9 mth old boy. My 2 1/2 yr old daughter is super hyper and loves this stroller. My 9 mth old son weighs as much as my daughter and loves the front seat. I have had no problems with the stroller it is NOT heavy as stated by someone else. It folds fine and fits in the trunk of our thunderbird. The storage area is easily accesable to me. I took the sun visers off b/c they are a pain. But that is the only problem I have had.
Great Deal!!! By

I ordered one for my nephew due in Nov. and it is better than I could have imagined for the price, I just knew there would be something wrong. It looks great and I checked to make sure there were no recalls, it is a great gift!
saved my 7wk old little girls life By
January 1, 2004
I had a Eddie Bauer Euro Z Travel System, and i was involved in a rollover car accident with my SUV, and my daughter who is 7 weeks old was in this carseat and she came out unharmed. Not even a scratch on her body. The doctors and fire department said that the carseat was what saved her life. I just went out and bought her another Eddie Bauer Travel System. Not because it got messed up, only because your supposed to replace any car seat involved in a car accident. I will never buy any other brand of carseats!
