daughter-in-law #2 put a version of this glider/ottoman combo on her wish list and my first thought was that's a lot of money for a glider--boy was I wrong--so comfortable, smooth glide, perfect for feeding/rocking baby--everyone in the family thinks it's great --we all pitched in for one for daughter-in-law #3 and she says (pre-baby) that it's already her favorite place to sit and read--both got the glider only version and that seems to be fine

We chose this over cheaper alternatives because of the size (width, height, etc.) and the superior padding. Its super easy to assemble (8 screws and your done. ...Don't pay $200 to $300 more at your local baby stores. This is a solid and comfortable chair, and rocks nicely. The wood isn't too heavy at all if you need to transport it up stairs or if you need to move it room to room.
