We are using this gate at the bottom of our staircase and it works great. We purchased the bannister adaptors for the side and it fits snuggly. Just make sure you measure your opening as this and other gates have specific sizes for the gate itself as well as the included extensions. The dog respects the gate and stays downstairs when needed. We would highly recommend this gate to others.

This was the nicest quality (and nicest looking gate) we found. We use this gate in our twins playroom. The extra tall height is great and our twins can't climb over EVEN if they stand on something, which would be a problem with a shorter gate.

This gate has made my life much easier. We are using this in our twins playroom. This was the nicest gate we found in terms of quality and durability and, also, the nicest looking. Also, I think it would be a cinch to temporarily remove if we were having company and didn't want our home to look like a daycare center. I love that this gate is extra tall. My twins are climbers and could probably scale a shorter gate, but so far this gate has kept them safe and secure in their playroom. Now, our son and daughter play in the playroom all the time. Thank you, Dreambaby!!

Definitely not the gate of the eighties - I got this gate after seeing and using it at my sisters. Easy to use even with a full load in your arms, well made, a great height.

Excellent product. We do not have children but have two inside dogs. This gate works great at keeping them from entering other rooms. We purchased one and was amazed how good it worked so we ordered another one.
