Bought these to use for keeping our dogs in certain rooms and they work great! Seem to be very sturdy, nice and tall, door operates smoothly, love that the door swings both ways. Excellent product. We do not have children but have two inside dogs. This gate works great at keeping them from entering other rooms. We purchased one and was amazed how good it worked so we ordered another one.

Definitely not the gate of the eighties - I got this gate after seeing and using it at my sisters. Easy to use even with a full load in your arms, well made, a great height.
