5.00 rating So far so good by Debbie on October 8, 2009
I just received my 2009 Bumbleride Indie Twin in Seagrass and I have to say it's beautiful! I knew it was a great looking stroller but wow, it exceeded my expectations. The canopies are very large and if you don't attach the snap buttons, they can be pulled further down. It's easy to install and very easy to fold. The instruction manual stink and the locks to close the stroller when folded are not even in the instructions so you have to guess on where they go. It is heavy so be cautious but I guess I need to work out. The under basket is very large. The seat recline is actually much easier to use than some of the other strollers I've had and it's designed well. I was cautious at first but it's pretty easy. The footrests are a little hard to release and you could catch your fingers if you're not careful. All in all, it's a gorgeous stroller and so far, I'm very pleased!
5.00 rating Love this stroller! by Cal L. on August 28, 2009
This stroller is fantastic. Huge, but fantastic. The only design flaw is that you have to take off the cupholder to fit into most doorways. But otherwise it is extremely well designed, the babies are comfortable, and it's easy to push.
5.00 rating Perfect All-Terrain Double! by Deborah Beauchamp on June 2, 2009
The Bumbleride Indie Twin 2009 is AMAZING! I did a ridiculous amount of research before investing (yes, it IS an investement!) in a quality, all-terrain double for my 16 month and 2 month-old. This one met all my requirements: All-terrain, light (it IS, for a sturdy double!), easy to use, came WITH a car seat adaptor, had a bassinet (this one has a carrycot you can purchase separately) option, had a large storage basket, was one-handed manoeuverable, looked classy and sporty, and last, but perhaps most importantly, could fit through doorways!! It does all this, and my babies can also sleep soundly for a nap while we're on a long walk. I can easily pull it in and out of our minivan trunk with the carry straps (when it's folded up), and using it at the mall it easy as well. No, you can't squeeze between narrow store aisles, but I just park the stroller to the side of a main aisle, and just do my browsing while keeping an eye on them. Shopping really hasn't been a problem. Oh--and it comes with a cupholder that you can easily snap on and off. (It doesn't fit through most doorways with the cupholder attached...one of the only small flaws! So there you have it! A great investment that has allowed me freedom again after having two babies close together! Cheers!
