This toy box is very large; just what I was looking for with 2 boys, and it matches the today's tot cherry toddler beds we have perfectly.
My oldest calls it his treasure chest.
Down side, the materials are cheaply made. The instructions are okay at best. Love trying to read pictures.
We aren't sure if it was the base piece, or one of the side pieces, but the pieces do not line up leaving the box a bit uneven.
Also be very careful you do not over tighten anything. My husband was quick to tighten the first screw manually not even using power tools, and the wood cracked. I hope that it still holds despite the crack in the wood.
The other thing we had issues with was the spring hinge. It has pre drilled holes, but we found the holes to already be stripped, so the hinge is very loose we might have to fix that when the boys are older and stronger so no one chokes on a screw.
I would also highly recommend 2 people to put this toy box together. It might be possible with one, but challenging.

We wanted a second toy box for our living room, as we all know that there just as many toys there as the child's bedroom. This has a safety hinge, so that is why we picked it. It works beutifully.... no sore fingers. The finish is very nice.

I love the toy chest! It is the perfect size, holds a lot of toys and is perfect for our decor. I put this in our family room and it fits right in! My son can have his toys available all the time but they are tucked neatly in this stylish toy chest. The shipping time was unbelievably fast! I ordered this on Wed of last week and recieved it by Friday! Considering ordering another one for another room in our house. Highly recommend this product.
