- Gift purchase for son to arrive granddaughter Review by Grammers and Papa (The grandparents)
Cheyenne Bernardo asked: Could I use this for my 13 month old?
Lora Panton: No, as a 13-month-old he/she is actively moving about and should have been transitioned to a crib where it is safer. The co-sleeper is only design for infants from birth to about three or four months old. When the infant start actively rolling over it becomes unsafe to let them sleep in the co-sleeper. After four months and he/she is transitioning to the crib you will both get a better nights sleep.
Krista Chappell: No, I wouldn't. I believe the max age is five months. And that definitely seems accurate.
Tamara Escamilla: No i don't think so. My baby is large and is only 4 months and he will outgrow in a couple of months.
Jay M Polatoff: I wouldn't. The sides are not very high and it would be very easy for a baby who can stand up against the side to tumble out. I wouldn't use it for any baby who started getting up on all fours or sitting up. It's meant for infants.
BabyAge.com asked: Why did you choose this?
Lora Panton: I needed this item as a gift for my daughter's baby shower in 3 days. She was registered at Amazon. They were out of stock and filling their orders from BabyAge so I decided to order directly from BabyAge.
Craig Roethler: Purchased for Daughter who chose this. Thank you!
Jay M Polatoff: Good reviews, cheaper, adjustable height
Valerie Cash: My daughter n law wanted this since the first baby won't get out of the bed, they wanted the second one to have a place to sleep close by. This is the remedy.
Elizabeth Moore: Since I will be nursing and I like my sleep plus there is a lot of positives to using a co-sleeper, this was one of my must haves for new baby. Plus its $50 cheaper here than on Amazon plus free shipping. Didn't get the color I really wanted but with $50 cheaper, I'll learn to live with it. :)
