The only other problem is the wire going from the control panel to the vibration box... it is way too short and keeps coming unplugged. We had very little money to spend while I was pregnant, but I did splurge on this item (in Rittenhouse). So glad I did!
The house we live in is very small, and this was literally like a second nursery for the whole main floor. The changing table is easy to clean and the convenient storage is great.
My son loved the vibration and music while he was younger, it put him right to sleep every dinner. Now he plays in the bottom and enjoys that as well. The Rittenhouse version comes with 3 little bears for the mobile, and they are still his favorite toys to take in the car.
I was so excited when it arrived at the house that I put it together myself (6 months pregnant) and it took less than 10 minutes.
I would recommend this to anyone. 4.00 rating Easy to set up... MonY D September 15, 2009 I'm nearly 6months pregnant and I set the playard up very easily by myself. It also seems very sturdy. The only thing I'm not too pleased with is the little devise that is supposed to give soothing sounds and ambiant lighting for the baby. It doesn't seem loud enough or bright enough. I look forward to using it soon! I also like the fact that when my baby out grows the bassinet I have a great portable play pin for him to use. 5.00 rating katy oste July 16, 2009 Although I have not been able to use it for my baby yet, my cousin Olivia tested it out for me. She is a big baby but had some complications so at almost a year she still fit and was held up very nicely. She also really liked the bears, I wasn't going to use them but she made me think they should be on there. Aside from how well she reacted to it, all my friends have given me endless comments on how beautiful it is. However, for travel as it is intended not good at all. Does not all fit into the bag. Will be great when he is older and only needs to playpen part of it, not the bassinet or the changer.
