User Review for Melissa and Doug Chomp & Clack Alligator Push Toy
Although it doesn't roll easily on our 'mini-shag' carpet, our 7 month little guy will have time to gain the confidence before he starts pushing with gusto. Overall, we are quite happy with the strong wooden quality of this product. It has the has the charm of a classic handcrafted heirloom.
User Review for Baby Bjorn Baby Carrier Original-Cotton
We have both the original Baby Bjorn and the Baby Bjorn Air carriers. I'm 5'6 and my husband is 6'1 and we're both comfortable wearing the Baby Bjorns. I found it much more convenient to shop for just about everything wearing the Baby Bjorn versus pushing around a stroller. Our first daughter loved being so close to us.
High Chairs
When feeding your child, you want them to have the “best seat in the house”. Whether you have to spoon feed them or they can feed themselves, a high quality highchair is important to any parent. There are so many different choices for you to pick from. Highchairs come in all different sizes, colors, and styles. With our wide selection of highchairs, we guarantee that you will be able to find the one that fits your needs and your budget.
Typically, you do not need to purchase a highchair until your baby starts to eat solid foods. This usually occurs around the 6 month period. You can of course buy a highchair earlier on. Many parents like to buy them earlier and keep them at the dinner table so they can keep a watchful eye on their little one while they eat.
There are several things that you should look for when purchasing a highchair as well. First, make sure that the highchair is safe. Pick a model that has a Juvenile Products Manufactures Association certificate on it. This certificate is found on mostly all reputable highchair manufacturing companies.
Look for a highchair with height adjustment if you plan to use the chair long term. This way, you can adjust the highchair to be easy on your arms for feeding and adjust the height as your baby grows older in age.
Also, check the straps on the highchair. Try to find a highchair where the straps are strong, durable and machine washable. Steer clear of models that only have a loop that goes around the baby's waist. It is very easy for the baby to slip out of these and get hurt.
Highchairs can also get dirty very quickly, so choose a model that will wash well. Vinyl cushions are easy to be wiped down. Also, if you choose a highchair with cloth cushions, make sure they are removable for easy cleaning.
