I love this. My daughter only takes 1 nap a day, this gets her to relax not fuss and now sleep longer. It indeed is the best product out there for your baby and for you as a parent. It gives me a break when I need it. My daughter is 6 weeks old and loves it and so do I!

I bought this swing for my nephew and his wife in another state and had it sent. I have not yet seen it, but got a call from my nephew saying it was the cadillac of baby swings and exactly what they wanted for their baby. They love it.

Yes you could put an infant in it at night but i wouldn't leave it turned on for swinging. You might run into a problem of getting baby to sleep without swinging later...

No. There is a weight limit of 25lbs and also with the seat a one year old would be too big. He/She would have her legs dangling over which makes it harder for the swing to work.
