This was a gift for a friend. She said the babies love it, but what was impressive was how quickly it got there!

I saw another mom using it at the bowling alley, it worked wonderfully, haven't tried it yet baby sit to young, but very excited about putting her into it and setting on the counter while I cook.

This is a great product! Since having it for 2 weeks, my 4 month old is already sitting on his own much better then he was. He can't sit completely on his own yet, but the Bumbo really gives him the right feel, it is so easy to use and so comfortable!

We received this as a gift for our son - even at 3 months old he was too big for it - his legs got stuck and it was hard to get him out of it - for us it really did not work.

I thought this looked uncomfortable until all of the mommies in my mommy group raved about it. I finally got one and my 2 month old loves it. I can actually put him down for a few minutes to get some things done.

I had been looking at these on different web sites even before my baby had been born. I thought that they were just another unnecessary thing to buy and would be a waste of money when i had so much other stuff to buy. Then along came this little strong willed baby whose aim in little life is to do things long before hes supposed to ie:- Sit up!! He loved his rocker chair, I am so glad i took the plunge and bought one of these and it has been worth every penny so far.

When a friend told me about the Bumbo, I thought:"What a crazy name for a baby chair. Why would a company name a chair to rhyme with Dumbo?". Regardless, the Bumbo is a great baby seat, and does in fact have an elephant motif on the front...

We purchased the Bumbo seat on a friend's recommendation and couldn't be more pleased with the product. It is supportive for our 4 month old. It feels very sturdy. For comparison, we also purchased the BeBe Pod by Prince Lionheart, which looks similar. The reason I picked up the BeBe Pod was because I read that it was safer/sturdier/less likely to tip because it was oval in shape. When I got both home and compared them side-by-side, the Bumbo and the BeBe Pod were the same size in diameter when measuring from the front to the back along the base. The BeBe Pod (which has an oval base)was narrower than the Bumbo (which has a round base). The overall base of the Bumbo is larger and I felt that made it sturdier and safer. With regard to the material they are made of, the Bumbo is more firm and sturdy, and difficlut to compress when adult weight is placed on the sides and back. With the Pod, the sides bent in when I pushed on what would be the armrest area of the chair. When looking at the underside, there are more "spokes" for lack of a better word, connecting the perimeter of the seat to the middle in the Bumbo. The only other difference we noticed, is that when the baby is placed in the seat, the sides on the Bumbo come up higher (which is better for keeping baby from being to wobbly).
