These are the best wooden letters that I found online. We bought them for our first child a while ago, from a different website that discontinued them, and fortunately, I found them again at Baby Age. They are really good quality and simple design. This was the best price, also, and the flat shipping rate helped.

The dimensions(in): 8H x 8W x 5/8D. However, some look wider than others because of the particular letter...you cannot evenly space out nails and expect that to work on the wall.
