Is it easy for the kid to wall around in? Do the hands come off so she can eat a treat?

Our 17month old didn't have a problem walking around in it. It was rather adorable watching her walk- especially with the little tail. She loved the silky lining and it was easy to get off with the snaps on the legs. We bought her the 18-24 month and it was a snug fit around her legs with jeans on so we will put her in leggings for Halloween. The hands/gloves fold backwards so her hands are free. It's nice they aren't truly removable so we don't lose them. The fabric is really silky and she loves to touch it. We showed the costume to two friends and they were also impressed with the quality compared other animal costumes. We can't wait for Halloween. Enjoy!

I haven't had my son walk around in it yet. It seems too big on the feet to get a good grip when walking. The hands have a slot where they can poke out, but you cannot remove them.
